The Politics Department of 020

This Department consists of two teams: the representatives, and the policy writers. The representatives know what is important for students and what is feasible in the Council; the writers help them with research, formulation of arguments, and anything else relevant to their daily work. These two teams work hand-in-hand on a daily basis to enact the change the University needs.

Policy Team

020 is such a unique student party in part because we have a policy team entirely dedicated to helping our representatives. Our policy writers help by doing research into various topics that affect students: they gather their own data if necessary, formulate our policies as professionals would do in governments, and always keep an eye out for new improvements within the University. Honestly, there is nothing they could not do.

Candidate Representatives Team

This team consists of 020 members who have been elected to student councils by their peers. Representatives are a direct link between the students and the University, thus, if you want to enact some change, they are the best people to turn to. They are always busy meeting with deans, coordinators, boards, committees, councils—it’s a tough job to represent their electorate!
