The political party 020 at the University of Amsterdam places great emphasis on the quality of education and strives to ensure that every student receives a top-tier education that prepares them for their future careers.
Over the years, we have worked hard to achieve this goal. We have fought for increased funding for the university, more scholarships for students, and better resources for professors. We have also advocated for more diversity and inclusivity in the classroom, so that all students feel welcome and supported.
One of our biggest achievements so far has been the implementation of a new grading system, which takes into account not just a student's academic performance, but also their personal growth and development. This new system encourages students to take risks and explore new ideas, rather than just focusing on getting good grades.
Looking forward, our ambition is to continue to improve the quality of education at the University of Amsterdam. We want to see more opportunities for students to engage in research and other forms of experiential learning, as well as more support for mental health and wellbeing.
